The Orbit Ring
The city grew up around a ring of light that hangs over the rooftops and never quite sets. Nobody remembers who switched it on. Hiro says he woke up on it, and nobody has proved him wrong.
Every HiMan wears a small copy of the ring: its Orbit Shell. Shells come in five kinds.

A shell gets fancier the longer one holder keeps it. It starts at level 1 and moves up as the days add up. A new holder starts again at level 1.
The 11/09 gate
There is one way into the city, and Bram keeps it. The gentle guard of the 11/09 gate bows to everyone who passes, and remembers every face.
The gate opens on the night the city wakes. Until then, the HiMen wait behind it: names chosen, traits fixed, faces calm.
Six districts and the Genesis Tower
Every HiMan comes from one corner of the city. The eighteen who were here first all live in the tower at the centre.
Noodle steam, paper lanterns and signs that hum all night long.
It never stops raining here, and every puddle glows with the sign above it.
The sky stays orange over the arcade, and the high score board is never quiet.
Air ferries dock on the rooftops, and the wind smells of salt and solder.
Green fog, loud speakers and the best repair shops in town.
A quiet club at the edge of the map, where the music is felt more than heard.
Home of the eighteen founders and legends, right under the Orbit Ring.
